FS8, a high-end Pilates studio located in Coolum on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast was lovingly renovated by the Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast North team. FS8 is a boutique fitness space that offers a welcoming, holistic wellness experience to all its clients. The studio was designed, renovated and transformed by the team of expert commercial shopfitters.

The Total Fitouts team defitted and transformed the existing commercial workspace into a beautiful, simple yet classical space for clients to experience. Walls were reshaped to open the space up and practical, yet stylish fixtures and fittings were cleverly selected to deliver quality, durability, and the brand style of the boutique Pilates business.

The clients wanted a serene, calming space with a natural, beachy vibe. The building was transformed into a modern, fresh fitness space featuring wooden floors, bespoke wooden panelling, and lighting. Multiple wooden Pilates reformer machines were installed alongside AV equipment and individual screens to enhance client training and program interaction. Branded signage was installed with beautiful LEDs and strip lighting to enhance the visual impact. 

The shopfit experts, “The space was opened up to improve client flow and experience. The natural colour palette created a calm, relaxing feel. Many of the high quality machines have views of the ocean, which adds to the serene atmosphere of the studio.”

The Total Fitouts team renovated the original brickwork feature walls, added a clever water niche, and updated back-of-house facilities with high-quality practical finishes. Lighting, plants, and wood were used to create a calming atmosphere perfect for holistic Pilates sessions. Storage solutions were built-in, custom cabinetry was crafted, and the reception area was created to create a feeling of calm and serenity.
