Powerhouse Gym Elite

Introducing Powerhouse Gym Elite, a dynamic fitness destination in the heart of Stafford City Shopping Centre, brought to life by Total Fitouts Brisbane Inner North. Formerly a humble cheap shop, this commercial fitness fitout has been transformed into a haven for bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Powerhouse Gym Elite specialises in catering to the needs of serious bodybuilders, offering a range of equipment and amenities tailored to support their fitness journey. Located in a bustling area, the gym stands out as a beacon of health and vitality, drawing in patrons with its inviting atmosphere and state-of-the-art facilities.

The scope of the project was extensive, encompassing everything from demolition and make-goods to the installation of new toilet amenities and partition walls. The main gym area was meticulously configured to maximise space utilisation, while the reception area features a cozy coffee nook, inviting patrons to relax and recharge post-workout. The original commercial interior design was completed by Retail Collective, however the Total Fitouts Brisbane Inner North team did slightly redesign the commercial fitout to fit within the client’s budget.

The commercial design ethos of Powerhouse Gym Elite was all about functionality and efficiency without compromising on style, whilst keeping on brand. With a focus on creating an inspiring environment for workouts, the space exuded a mood of motivation and determination. The finishes of the commercial fitness fitout were practical yet stylish, with rubber gym flooring providing both durability and comfort for intense training sessions. Haven Plumbing and Gas took care of anything to do with plumbing for the amenities and water drinking stations.

Unique commercial interior design features within the commercial fitness fit out included cost-effective solutions such as epoxy flooring, completed by Signature Substrates, and economical warehouse lighting, done by Solar Air and Energy, strategically placed to illuminate the space. LED signage adds a touch of modernity and sophistication, enhancing the gym’s visibility and street appeal. Paul Nikolas Painting took care of the painting of the space, bringing it to life. Arco Door Systems provided and installed a security door system for gym membership usage, and Rapid Glass installed mirrors as well as fixed glaze panels that was used between the retail space and the gym to section off the areas.

Despite facing challenges such as a limited budget and the need to adapt commercial interior designs to meet financial constraints, the commercial fitness fit out was completed within a total timeframe of 12 weeks. Total Fitouts Brisbane Inner North rose to the occasion, delivering a space that exceeds expectations in both form and function.

In the end, Powerhouse Gym Elite stands as a testament to the transformative power of commercial design and construction. From its humble beginnings as a cheap shop to its current status as a premier fitness destination, this space embodies the spirit of dedication and progress, empowering individuals to reach their full potential in pursuit of health and wellness.
