Total Fitouts Adelaide Central, led by Brett Kelly, successfully transformed an existing commercial tenancy into a stunning wellness and beauty establishment for A Touch of Beauty. The commercial fitout aimed to create a beautiful and soothing environment, showcasing a natural colour palette with subtle pops of colour. A Touch of Beauty’s goal is to promote inner beauty by providing top-quality skin services and treatments, helping clients look and feel their best.

The project scope included designing and constructing a reception area, a welcoming waiting area, multiple spa and treatment rooms, amenities, and a small kitchenette. Total Fitouts and the team completed the project in stages while the tenant continued to trade. The overarching design concept aimed to achieve a warm and inviting atmosphere with a minimal and natural colour palette, creating a soothing and relaxing environment. The design was completed by designer, Walter Brooke, and fitout by Total Fitouts Adelaide Central, who both worked towards a high-end wellness and beauty commercial fitout result.

The front section of the commercial fitout has been carefully designed to create a captivating and welcoming space for visitors as they enter A Touch of Beauty. One of the key features is the floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow abundant natural light to flood into the reception area. These windows are adorned with stunning linen sheer curtains, adding a touch of elegance and softness to the space. The reception area itself is designed to make guests feel comfortable and at ease with the high ceilings creating an airy and relaxed environment. A custom marble stone counter takes centre stage, serving as the focal point of the reception area. This beautifully crafted counter not only provides a practical space for guests to check in but also adds a touch of luxury and sophistication to the overall design.

To ensure guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience, comfortable seating options are strategically placed in the reception area. Additionally, large bespoke wooden merchandise shelving is incorporated into the area, offering clients the opportunity to explore and engage with the product displays. This arrangement allows guests to familiarise themselves with the available beauty and wellness offerings, creating an interactive and immersive experience.

Brett and his team of skilled carpenters have executed a beautiful wellness fitout including each spa and treatment room at A Touch of Beauty. To provide clients with a truly exceptional experience, private and high-quality massage beds and treatment equipment have been installed. The earthy linen curtains not only add a touch of warmth and texture to the rooms but also provide an element of privacy, allowing clients to fully immerse themselves in their treatments.

Strategically placed, ample dimmable ceiling lights further enhance the ambience of each room and were thoughtfully incorporated, allowing clients to unwind and enter a state of deep relaxation. The lighting can be adjusted to create the desired mood, whether it’s a soft and calming glow or a brighter setting for specific treatments. This versatility in lighting ensures that each client’s experience is tailored to their individual preferences and needs. In addition to providing a tranquil environment, the commercial wellness fitout includes bespoke wooden furniture in each room. These pieces not only serve as functional storage for treatment equipment and products but also add a touch of natural beauty and elegance to the space.

Behind the scenes, Brett and his shopfit expert team have installed elegant copper amenities, adding a touch of sophistication and refinement to the space. The copper fixtures not only serve their practical purposes but also contribute to the overall visual appeal of the commercial fitout. The dark green splash back tiling behind the amenities adds depth and richness to the design. The mirror in the amenities room creates the illusion of space, making the room feel more open and add a touch of elegance. 

Warm earthy tiling has been selected throughout the build, tying in harmoniously with the warm colour palette of the commercial fitout. To complete the overall ambience, elegant paintings and earthy decor have been thoughtfully incorporated throughout the wellness & beauty fitout. These elements add a touch of artistry and personalisation, enhancing the visual interest and creating a soothing environment.
