Total Fitouts Perth South, led by Stuart Organ, recently completed a commercial wellness and beauty fitout for Ayre Hair, located at Perth Airport Terminal 4. Ayre Hair is Australia’s first airport hairdresser, providing hair services to both male and female clientele. The fitout aimed to create a memorable and unique beauty salon experience within the airport setting. Open from 5am to 12 midnight, Ayre Hair caters to fly-in-fly-out workers and travellers, offering convenience and quality service.

The fitout design, led by Danny and Centre Square in collaboration with fitout experts, Stuart and the Total Fitouts Perth South team, aimed to create a high-end and unique beauty salon experience. A bold purple colour palette, combined with splashes of gold and brass accents, created a visually appealing and eye-catching space. The design focused on creating a light and bright airport setting while maintaining a memorable and distinctive ambience.

The scope of the wellness and beauty shop fitout included six styling booths and two sinks to accommodate client needs efficiently. Corian-engineered stone worktops with merchandise displays provided functionality and on-brand aesthetics. Custom Ayre Hair signage was prominently displayed above the structure to attract and engage clientele. Additional LED lighting was strategically placed to enhance the signage and merchandise displays.

Stuart and his team of carpenters delivered an exceptional fitout, including high-quality salon chairs and styling booths. Unique features such as non-slip printed floor graphics, complimented Ayre Hair’s signature purple, adding to the salon’s visual impact. Behind-the-scenes amenities included elegant matte black sinks and hair basins, along with custom shelving featuring a gold splashback to enhance product visibility.

The Total Fitouts Perth South team successfully addressed the challenge of installing an extractor fan to eliminate fumes in the airport environment, ensuring a safe and comfortable atmosphere for clients and staff. Their expertise and attention to detail resulted in a successful fitout that fulfills Ayre Hair’s vision of providing an exceptional beauty salon experience within the bustling airport terminal.
