Heath and the Total Fitouts Sunshine Coast South team have masterfully transformed an empty commercial space into a warm and inviting haven for coffee enthusiasts. Tim Adams Cafe, renowned for its partnership with passionate and motivated coffee aficionados, is a prominent player in the cafe and restaurant industry, catering to those who seek the perfect brew, including several flagship cafes.

The project scope of the commercial hospitality fitout was tailored to reinvigorate the space, with a primary focus on the main service area and a dedicated back-of-house zone to facilitate staff operations. Tim Adams Cafe’s interior design strikes a harmonious chord between simplicity and allure, blending various timber tones with a distinctive sage on-brand green. The entryway to the cafe fitout serves as a welcoming portal, adorned with a prominent bespoke on-brand sign that instantaneously conveys the cafe’s identity. Rollable windows grace the exterior, allowing the cafe to open up and extend its ambience outdoors. Crisp white trim surrounds the windows, with an engaging company background displayed on one side. To cater to a diverse clientele, the exterior is furnished with stools and black tables featuring timber tops, providing ample seating options.

Stepping inside, the floor is covered with practical concrete to minimise maintenance and withstand the rigours of foot traffic. An exposed ceiling, painted in a sleek black, creates an illusion of spaciousness within the compact environment. The space is bathed in natural light, with hanging white pendant lights and white walls contributing to the bright and airy atmosphere. A wooden benchtop gracefully wraps around one side of the cafe, serving as additional seating, with timber stools tucked neatly underneath.

The central area commercial hospitality fit out features VJ-paneled counters with a light concrete benchtop, meticulously aligned with the overall design palette. On one counter, a built-in chilled display cabinet takes centre stage, showcasing an array of enticing products. A distinctive green VJ-panel feature wall, complemented by timber product displays, offers a unique and on-brand approach to merchandise presentation.

The space is accentuated with an abundance of greenery, featuring plants that infuse a touch of nature. A custom timber shelf gracefully encircles one wall, providing a minimalist and aesthetically pleasing platform for product display. The overarching design philosophy centres around minimalism, effectively maintaining the Tim Adams brand’s distinctive colour palette and creating an enticing cafe environment.
