Top of the Bay Bakery

Top of the Bay Bakery, a well-established presence in the Hervey Bay area, partnered with the commercial fitout experts Total Fitouts Wide Bay to rejuvenate its existing bakery space, to bring it in line with its other shop at Torquay. 

The primary objective of this project was a comprehensive freshening up and rework of the bakery’s current space. Using Warren’s years of experience in this sector, the commercial interior design of the bakery had a meticulous rejig layout change to optimise spatial efficiency and functionality. Total Fitouts Wide Bay, leveraging their commercial in-house design proficiency, infused a modern aesthetic into the bakery, ensuring a harmonious blend of style and practicality.

Situated in the growing suburb of Kawungan, the bakery’s commercial kitchen underwent a significant upgrade. This included the incorporation of state-of-the-art equipment and a strategic reconfiguration to enhance workflow. To accommodate the bakery’s growing needs, a spacious cold room was seamlessly integrated, adhering to the highest standards of food safety.

A key focus throughout the commercial shopfit was the creation of a space, that would allow owner Patrick’s business to work more seamlessly across the two locations, making it easier for staff by creating matching workflows in both locations. This forward-thinking approach encompassed the installation of an entirely new shop front, featuring glass elements and eye-catching street signage. The aim was to enhance street appeal, capturing the attention of passing traffic. The incorporation of automatic doors added a layer of convenience, while the overall design ensured a welcoming shopfront that significantly elevated the customer experience.

Integral to the revitalisation was a strategic branding initiative that aligned with Top of the Bay Bakery’s unique identity. Through these multifaceted enhancements, Total Fitouts Wide Bay was dedicated not only to meeting the immediate needs of Top of the Bay Bakery but also to positioning it for sustained success and growth in the ever-evolving culinary landscape on the Fraser Coast.
